Kalina Jankova is a violinist, pedagogue, and co-founder of This is Bulgaria. For more than three decades she lived abroad, building an international career in music and education, before returning home to Bulgaria. Her return is both a personal journey and a cultural mission, rooted in the desire to celebrate and share Bulgaria’s unique heritage. Through her artistry and vision, Kalina weaves together music, memory, and storytelling to create bridges between past and future.
